Log Elements

Original Estimate

The 'Original Estimate' in the logs refers to the initial number of hours allocated for the project. This figure represents the original plan or budget in terms of time before any changes were made.

New Estimate

The 'New Estimate' shows the revised number of hours allowed for the project following a change. This update reflects the current understanding of the project’s scope and the time required for its completion.

Changed By

'Changed By' indicates the user who made the change to the project. This could be a project manager, a maintainer, or any other team member with the necessary permissions to adjust project hours. Identifying the user responsible for the change helps in maintaining accountability and facilitates follow-up discussions if needed.

Created At

'Created At' records the exact date and time when the change was made. This timestamp is crucial for tracking when specific adjustments occurred, providing context for the project’s timeline and aiding in project analysis.

The 'Logs' tab in Archr is a powerful tool for monitoring the evolution of a project's parameters and managing project history. By offering a detailed view of changes, especially regarding project hours, it enhances project management efficiency and accountability.
