Project Lifetime Insights

The Project Lifetime Insights Section in Archr is a comprehensive analytical tool that provides a detailed overview of your project's journey from start to present. This section is divided into three key areas, each offering unique insights into various aspects of project progression and efficiency. It's an invaluable resource for understanding how your project is evolving over time and helps in making informed decisions based on the accumulated data and observed trends.

1. Total Planned​

This subsection focuses on the planned aspects of your project's requirements, giving you a clear picture of the initial expectations set for the project. It includes:

  • Total Planned Hours: The sum of all the planned hours for every requirement in the project.
  • Completed Planned Hours: This represents the total of planned hours for all requirements that have been completed to date.
  • Remaining Planned Hours: A calculation of the total planned hours for all requirements that are yet to be completed.

2. Actual​

The Actual subsection offers insights into the actual execution of the project, providing a reality check against the planned estimates. It includes:

  • Total Hours: The sum of actual hours logged against all completed requirements.
  • Actual to Planned Ratio: This ratio indicates how the actual hours stack up against every 100 planned hours, providing a measure of efficiency and accuracy in planning.
  • Average Hours Worked Per Week: An average calculation of the hours worked per week, giving a snapshot of the team’s weekly effort.

3. Projected​

The Projected subsection helps you anticipate future trends based on current work patterns. It includes:

  • Projected Remaining Hours: An estimate of the number of hours left to complete the project, based on the current rate of work.
  • Projected Total Hours: An extrapolation of the total hours that will be spent to complete the project, again based on current work trends.
  • Estimated Completion Date: A forecast of when the project will be completed, considering the current pace of work.

Through the Project Lifetime Insights Section, Archr equips you with a multi-dimensional view of your project's progress, blending planned, actual, and projected data. This holistic approach allows project managers to not only track current progress but also to predict future outcomes and adjust strategies accordingly.
